The vibrant energy of this happy chorus makes it difficult to remain seated during the performances. Resisting singing along with the fun is also a great challenge. The unique renditions of familiar classic tunes make for a refreshing revisiting with ‘an old friend’ time and again throughout the concerts. I have been accompanied by teens at the concerts I have attended and have been thrilled to observe their enthusiasm in enjoying the performances. When the opportunities to sing along are presented, they often know the words to the old tunes better than Mom! I have been singing in choirs for all of my life and I have been in this choir for longer than any of the other folks. I witnessed a total transformation from the old Oratorio choir to the trendy, talented group of singers we are now; singers who perform many different genres of music in an exciting and professional way. Brian Farrell has brought new life and ideas to the choir - ideas about different music, new styles, as well as how to present an exciting show to our devoted followers. We are like a big happy family gaining many friends each year as new people join. Music is therapeutic, educational - but most of all, it is FUN! This group of singers is totally dedicated to providing fabulous entertainment and sending our audience away with a happy feeling at the end of the evening.
